Sen Yai Sen Lek / Dipped & Debris (2422 Central Av. NE., Mpls., Dippedanddebris.com) Two neighboring businesses northeast of Minneapolis come from the same group, a Thai restaurant Sen Yai Sen Lek and a custard shop Freeze and sandwiches Dipped & Debris, close. Both close on April 23.
Seven Steakhouse and Sushi (700 Hennepin Av., Mpls., 7mpls.com) Seven Steakhouse & Sushi, holding the corner of Hennepin Avenue and N. 7th Street in downtown Minneapolis for about 15 years, closed Jan. 31. Restaurant and Nightclub near Pantages Theater was 40% operational compared to pre-epidemic levels, and opened only three or four days a week. With three floors and a balcony overlooking the roof, the closure of one of the city’s largest centers leaves a gap, a 30,000-square-foot hole in the city’s nightlife and visitors. Trattoria Mucci (901 W. Lake St., muccisitalian.com) Italian bistro from restaurant Tim Niver and chef Chris Uhrich shut down Jan. 29. Opened in 2019, Trattoria Mucci was a sprout of St. Paul Mucci’s little. The restaurant also replaced another Niver company, Meyvn, which lasted for one year. Part Wolf (501 Cedar Av. S., Mpls.) Cedar-Riverside music bar, football and bocce closed Jan. 28. It was located in a two-story West Bank historic building that housed the Nomad World Pub and 5 Corners. Saloon, an area believed to have one of the oldest liquor licenses in the city. Wild Hare (218 N. Main St., Stillwater, wildharebar.com) A couple near The Velveteen subterranean speakeasy in Stillwater opened Wild Hare. You will find cauliflower / falafel balls fried with onion rings (with optional Moroccan spices) that are already gluten-free. Pagoda (2401 Fairview Av. N., Ste. 133, Roseville, http://pagodadinkytown.com) After a 13-year run in Dinkytown, a Cantonese and Szechuan restaurant Pagoda closed last spring to make room. students. Emerald Lounge (455 W. 7th St., St. Paul, emeraldstpaul.com) A cocktail near the wine bar has arrived in West Seventh in St. Louis. Drinks include a wide range of wine and a selection of artistic cocktails, both with and without alcohol. Tono Pizzeria + Cheesesteaks (437 Commerce Dr., Woodbury, tonomn.com) Since 2019, chef Antonio Gambino has been throwing Philly-style cheesesteaks and pizza-inspired Sicilian recipes, for the first time in Maplewood (3088 White Bear Av.). Fast food restaurant expanded last year to St. Paul, took the place of St. Clair Broiler (1580 St. Clair Av.), And opened the site at Coon Rapids (3500 124th Av. NW.) In May 2021.
